Measure the exact path where the cap or hat will sit. A tape placed too high, low or tightly can change the result by a full size.

Find your hat size

One wrap of the tape, checked from the front, side and back.

Head circumference

Around

Measure around the head just above the eyebrows and ears, passing over the widest point at the back. Keep the tape level and comfortably snug.

Above the eyebrows

Front

At the front, keep the tape just above the eyebrows, at the position where the hat band will sit.

Above the ears

Sides

Guide the tape just above both ears. Do not let it rest on the ears or rise towards the crown.

Keep the tape level

Check

Check the back view, keep the tape comfortably snug and horizontal, then measure twice. Record the larger repeatable result and compare it with the product chart.

Which hat sizes are available?

Available: 52 cm / UK 6 1/2, 54 cm / UK 6 3/4, 56 cm / UK 7, 58 cm / UK 7 1/4, 59 cm / UK 7 3/8, 60 cm / UK 7 1/2 and 62 cm / UK 7 3/4. Measure around the head just above the eyebrows and ears, then choose the closest size.

Can I add notes or special instructions?

Yes. Use the Additional Information box. Share any relevant sizing, tartan, or customisation notes for your order.

Tartan & colour

Will the colours look exactly like the photos?

Screen settings, lighting, woven materials and pattern placement can cause small, reasonable differences in colour, texture or where the pattern falls. Measurements and dimensions are approximate unless the product or a written confirmation says otherwise.

What do "Ancient" and "Modern" mean in a tartan name?

They are colour shades of the same sett. Ancient uses softer, lighter tones and Modern uses deeper, stronger tones. The pattern itself is the same.

My tartan is not listed. Can you help?

Often, yes. We can weave a tartan no mill stocks, from a photo, scan, sketch or thread count. Asking for a quote is free.

Can I get this item faster?

Yes. Tick Rush Order for "7-10 Day Delivery", which adds 17,55 €. Choose rush production only when needed. The displayed surcharge is added to the product price. If you need it for a fixed date, contact us before ordering.

When will my order be dispatched?

Ready-to-dispatch and made-to-order products have different preparation times. Made-to-measure and personalised items may not enter production until your measurements, choices and other details are complete. Orders with mixed lead times may ship together when the longest item is ready, or separately.

I need it for a wedding or event. Can you meet my date?

Contact us before ordering so we can advise whether your date looks achievable. Production, dispatch and carrier times are estimates unless we confirm a fixed date in writing.

How much is delivery?

Available delivery services and the final charge are shown at checkout once you enter your address. Any free-shipping offer applies only while it is displayed and checkout confirms your order qualifies.

Will I pay customs or import duties?

International deliveries may be subject to customs, import duties, taxes or carrier charges set by the destination. Unless checkout states they are included, the recipient pays them.
